It's late, but I'm due

So, I'm falling asleep at the computer already, but I haven't posted in I think 2 days. The only thing on my mind is that we are officially trying to conceive baby number 2. I haven't charted this cycle, but will start next month. We aren't using protection and we are getting lots of practice(wink wink). I'm so excited that this could happen soon that I can't think of anything else. I suck, but I have baby fever and don't want the kiddos to be too far apart in age. They will already be at least 2 1/2 years difference in thier age and that is if it happens right away.

I'm terrified of losing another baby, but it's worth it to risk it, right?

The life I wanted isn't the life I want

So on Valentines Day, my husband and I went out to the bar with some friends. We had a few drinks and wound up dancing a two-step together. I was consumed with him, but glanced at a man who was sitting by the dance floor. I could have swore it was my ex fiance. I looked twice and he was looking straight at us. I was a bit tipsy, but I am really sure it was him. I held on tighter and enjoyed an intimate dance with my husband. I have come to realize in the days since that I am completely in love with my husband! I always said that if my ex was to show up and want me back, I'd go. I would take my baby and I would go, but I realize now that it isn't the truth anymore. I no longer long for the life I could have had with him. I instead am very happy in my own life. My man treats me with respect, and laughs with me, and does things for me, and wants to please me and for me to be happy. I want the same things for him. We want to make each other happy and our son. I can not imagine being with anyone else.

No Pork Chop for me...

So, we started running lunchh specials at the restaurant, something that we don't normally have on the menu. Today's special was a grilled pork chop and two side orders. I missed pork chops last week and was so thrilled about eating one for lunch. I was so under-impressed. It was tough, dry, and didn't have much seasoning. I won't be ordering that again...

Lemon Chicken, it's whats for dinner.

Lemon Chicken

I found this recipe and am have been meaning to try it for a while... I have never made a chicken with Lemon Pepper or Lemon juice or lemon anything because I don't like lemon in my tea or water or anything...but.......

I have to work tonight, so I tried to prepare as much as I could, so all Jeff has to do is pop it in the oven. It is a breaded baked chicken, so I am hoping that it turns out okay since I have already breaded it and set it in the fridge.....

Simple and easy...

Ingredients
~3 tablespoons melted butter
~2 tablespoons lemon juice
~1 garlic clove, minced (I used 1 teaspoon minced refrigerated garlic since I didn't have any fresh)
~1/2 teaspoon salt
~1/4 teaspoon peppeer
~1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs (I used unseasoned and added lemon pepper, and season salt and onion powder)
~4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. (Because I did Au Gratin potatos with the chicken, I had Jeff put it in for 375 because the potatos called for a hotter oven.)
Mix butter, lemon juice, garliv, salt and pepper in one bowl . In another put bread crumb mixture.
Submerge chicken pieces in butter mixture and then cover with bread crumb mixture. Put in greased 9X13 glass baking dish.
Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes. (Even though I had the oven hotter than asked, I still left it in for the whole 30 minutes and it got cooked thouroughly but not overly......

Oh my gosh...I started this post before I went to work, and when I got home tonight, the apartment smelled so yummy... Dinner was just finishing up and we sat down to a yummy dinner of baked lemon chicken, Au Gratin potatos and Broccoli, and crescent rolls.... The Chicken was delish. It was so moist, that I could cut it with a fork. I plan on adding this to the rotation of dinners. It was really easy and I loved it and Jeff was pleased, and Ethan ate lots of chicken.

A headachey start

So, I was suppose to get up early to finish pulling out things from the cabinets so the exterminator can spray, but instead I woke up at normal time with a bad headache. And playhouse disney is not helping at the volume level that it is at. I now really should be trying to get ready for work since I have to be in a bit early. Ugh, after a long weekend type Monday and Tuesday off, I am not doing well to get in the swing of things this week.

I am off to watch a bit of Handy Manny, "You break it, we fix it."

A new start

So, after being found by people that I didn't want to find my blog, I am back. I'm actually a new me. I'm happy, and relaxed, and enjoying my life, my husband, and my Ethan. We have moved and are living in an apartment while saving up money, but other than our noisy upstairs neighbors, we are totally loving it. I wish they had 3 bedrooms, because I don't know if we'd move. I'm close to my mother in law and right in town, yet, it's quite and well built so we don't hear the city noise for the most part. We are still sad by our loss that we had right before the blog deletion, but we are moving on and looking foward to trying to concieve starting in March.

I must go now, I've spent too much time setting up the new page and am still not quite done, but I might just have to go and play "nominos" (dominos) with Ethan. No he isn't a super genious, he just carries them around and lines them up, etc. I just love the way he says it.
